STEP 1: SELECT IMAGES

Step 2: Paper Choices

paper

Fuji Lustre: This is the photo paper you know and love. It’s a semi-gloss (halfway between gloss and matte). Images on this paper tend to have more contrast but come out a little darker as a result. Display them in a well lit room.

Fine Art Matte: A thicker paper with a little bit of texture, like watercolor paper.

Border

I can put a quarter inch border around the image if you’d like. This is nice if you are planning on doing custom matting. This is because the opening of the matt has to be smaller than the print (otherwise it would fall through). If you’re doing custom mating then you can make sure the size is perfect.

If you’re just going to buy a pre-matted frame from the craft store then I would not recommend the border. Just put an 8x10 print in a frame that holds 8x10 prints. Easy.

Signature

Signatures have to cost extra because when I sign an image the package gets shipped twice: once from the print lab to me and then once to you. It also increases the time between order and delivery. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t charge for them. I hope you understand.

I sign prints on the image in the lower right hand corner. I use pen on lustre paper and pencil on matte.
